Assistant Service Manager

Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Service Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the Service Manager in overseeing daily operations, managing service technicians, and ensuring the highest level of customer service. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Service Manager in planning, coordinating, and supervising HVAC service operations.
- Manage and support a team of service technicians, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Ensure timely and efficient completion of service calls and maintenance tasks.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of parts and supplies.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service requests in a professional manner.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to service technicians.
- Assist in developing and implementing service policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities and customer interactions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in HVAC preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the HVAC industry, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using service management software and tools.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
